Petty Philosopher is a portable collection
of odd and curious sounds.
Examples of topics are Friction Values (the tonal equivalents
of friction coefficients), Buddha (bad translations from
the Koans in Zen Buddhism to English with unintended innuendo), The
Home Laboratory (basic household operations), and Mathematics
(unusual mathematical formulations).
The sounds are recorded on digital ICs, the memory spaces of which are randomly selected at the button push
of a user. The circuitry is designed for power efficiency and good audio performance.
